The menu offers everything from fresh seafood—like oysters and shrimp cocktail—to hearty items such as burgers and lobster rolls, alongside interesting small plates and snacks. There’s a laid-back charm in the air, with cozy yet trendy vibes that work well for solo diners as much as groups celebrating special occasions.
Visitors often find themselves lingering over carefully crafted cocktails, a broad beer selection, or a well-curated wine list, all of which complement the variety of dishes. Whether you’re stopping in for brunch, a quick bite, or a late-night meal, the place tends to fill up, so it’s wise to plan ahead for reservations, especially on weekends. The space feels inviting yet lively, with attentive service that strikes a nice balance between casual and polished.
The crowd here is a mix of locals and visitors alike, including families and solo diners, thanks in part to the accessible layout and thoughtful seating options. Outdoor seating is available for warmer days, adding to the easygoing neighborhood ambience. "Enjoyed the oysters, lobster roll with fries, and avocado and salmon tartine."
"Amazing seafood, funky cool atmosphere and super friendly staff."
"Love this place for its excellent service, food and drinks."
5 Lots of great drinks and seafood, but randomly also the best burrata I’ve ever had (that red pepper chimichurri they pair it with )
5 My wife took me here for…I forget why lol. This place is incredible. We had the oysters, the smoked whitefish salad, the burger, and the lobster roll. Every item was better than the last. The oysters were fresh and incredible, the smoked whitefish salad slapped, the burger was insanely flavorful, and the lobster roll was so fresh, light, and perfectly seasoned. Garlic bread ruled and the cocktails were also great! Can’t wait to go back!
5 Came here to celebrate a bday and it was great dinner choice. Being inside was such a vibe and the food was delicious! We got the crab dip, tuna tartar, lobster pasta, and steak frites. The portions were great and well worth the wait. The cocktails were also superb. Would definitely come back for another occasion!
4 Such a vibe and experience! We only had the raw bar platter so might be bias, but the crab leg is not as fresh and juicy as I wish. Their French fries is a must for me though!
5 A convergence of great choices by management to put empowerment into service hands for the best experience, consolidate focus into a handful of dishes and do each really well, and to throw out pretense that fussiness = greatness. Had such a good experience we forgot to get any pics besides this perfect burrata situation. Caitlin was fantastic <3 Great date night vibe, will continue to rec.
5 An amazing meal! We loved everything about Jeffrey’s Grocery. Super warm and friendly service that was attentive throughout the meal (honestly rare these days). Each dish was fantastic and so flavorful. Cocktails were stellar. The mussels were the best I’ve ever had. And you MUST get the Caesar salad!!! Only thing we would have skipped was the bisque (a bit underwhelming). Seriously, give this place a try! The vibe was great even on a Sunday.
5 We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The service was outstanding, and the staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We came in the afternoon for oysters and wine, and everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully served. A perfect spot to relax and enjoy great food and great service. Highly recommended!
4 Great service, and a nice cozy environment. The food is pretty good, albeit a bit pricy. We were there on a Thursday, and got half a dozen oysters, the special (clam pasta with garlic bread), as well as the lobster spaghetti. The York peppermint patty at the end of the meal was a nice touch too.
Guests often enjoy seafood like oysters and lobster roll, as well as standout dishes like burrata with red pepper chimichurri and crab dip.
It’s a great spot for a relaxed sit-down meal with family or friends, though you can also grab quick bites or enjoy happy hour drinks in a cozy, trendy atmosphere.
Jeffrey’s Grocery usually has a wait during peak times, so visiting earlier or making a reservation for brunch, lunch, or dinner is recommended.
Yes, the restaurant welcomes everyone—perfect for solo dining, casual meals with family, or celebrations with friends.
They have indoor and outdoor seating, are wheelchair accessible inside, and offer table service with a great selection of drinks and comfort food.
